On December 2-9, the Tbilisi IFF's Industry Days will offer a wide programme on compelling issues of the modern cinematography.


The special attention will be paid to Pitching workshops and forums, masterclasses and panel-discussions.


The full-length and short films Pitching workshops led by Marjorie Bendeck and Christian Routh will be followed by the Pitching panels. The selected 7 full-length and 10 short feature film projects will be presented at the Pitching forums in front of the Jury. The winners will be awarded 3000 and 5000 GEL allocated by the Georgian Film Development Fund.


The industry programme will also present The Documentary Storytelling Workshop for Female Directors by Karin Ekberg and Johanna Bernhardsson, the Animation Workshop by Chloé Mazlo and the Actor's Workshop by Ivan Shvedoff.

The British producer Rebecca O'Brien will talk about her 30-years experience with the famous director Ken Loach.

The Director in Focus, Denis Cote from Canada, will meet the audience after the screening of his films.

The British producer Uberto Pasolini and European film director, cinematographer and writer Fred Kelemen will hold the masterclasses in a Q&A format.

The Industry programme will also feature with several panel-discussions, such as "Challenges of Modern Film Production", "Memories of German Cinema - Conversation with Erika and Ulrich Gregor", "European Debutants at the Round Table" and presentations - "Creative Europe Georgia Desk and Creative Armenia" and "Georgian Section at Cottbus IFF".
