On December 7th at 21:00 in the Cinema Amirani (hall 3) was screening of André Téchiné's film "Far away". Film was presented by actor Stéphane Rideau who is also a member of the main jury of the 18th Tbilisi international film festival.

Stéphane Rideau (born 25 July 1976) is a French actor. Although intending to pursue a career in sports, he was discovered in 1992 at a rugby game and then auditioned for a role in the film Les Roseaux sauvages (Wild Reeds) by André Téchiné. The film was selected as the French entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 67th Academy Awards. At the 1995 César Awards, Les Roseaux Sauvages won Best Film nomination. In 1994 he appeared in such internationally acclaimed films as Sitcom (1999), directed by François Ozon, and Gaël Morel's Full Speed (1996). He later played the role of a gay teenager in Presque rien (Come Undone) directed by Sébastien Lifshitz. Rideau has a long acting experience that includes the films Loin, Le Ventre de Juliette, Le Clan and Le Cadeau d'Élena.

The film set in Tangier in a three-day period, tells the story of three young friends taking critical decisions about their uncertain future.
